12 possibilities. One little spin.
A different look. The same possibilities.
A spin wheel is a visual random picker that chooses one entry from a list. Each name, number, or idea occupies a section of the circle. The wheel rotates, slows down, and finishes with the chosen section beneath the pointer. It is the familiar prize-wheel experience, ready to use in your browser.
SpinWheeel.online turns your own list into a custom wheel spinner. Use it as a wheel of names for a group, a decision wheel for dinner plans, or a giveaway wheel for a prepared list of entrants. You decide which options belong on the wheel; the tool makes a random selection from those options.
With equal weights, each entry has the same chance on every spin. If you add the same person twice, that person has two entries. If you change a weight, you change the odds. A clear list matters just as much as a colorful wheel.
Replace the sample entries with your list, one option per line. Paste a roster, type a shortlist, or import a CSV file. Empty lines are ignored. Keep labels short enough to recognize on the wheel.
Pick one of five wheel designs, set a spin duration, and choose whether winners stay in the list. Advanced mode lets you inspect and adjust individual entry weights.
Click the wheel center or the Spin the wheel button. The pointer stays fixed while the wheel slows to a stop. Read the winner, remove that entry if needed, and check the Results tab for your recent picks.

Choose reading turns, select a discussion prompt, or rotate classroom jobs. Remove selected entries when everyone should get one turn. Our classroom wheel activities include practical lists and ways to keep participation comfortable.
Paste eligible usernames into a name picker wheel and show the draw on screen. Check your list first: this tool selects from entries you supply and does not fetch Instagram comments or verify eligibility. See the manual Instagram giveaway workflow.
Choose a film, a lunch option, or a weekend activity from a shortlist everyone can accept. The wheel is most useful after you remove options that do not work. Browse everyday decision wheel ideas for a starting point.
Load conversation starters, friendly challenges, or game turns. Agree on the options before spinning, and let people pass on activities they are uncomfortable with. The ready-made activity presets are editable, so your group can make them its own.
Add up to 1,000 entries, shuffle their arrangement, sort alphabetically, or remove matching duplicates. CSV import accepts a name column and an optional weight column.
Switch between Classic, Rainbow, Pastel, Midnight, and Monochrome. Change the mood without rebuilding your list. Add an optional center image for a personal finishing touch.
Every entry starts with a weight of one. Increase a weight in Advanced mode when an option should have a larger chance. The wheel sections reflect those weights.
Keep a record of the latest 100 picks in this browser. Remove a selected entry manually or turn on automatic removal for successive draws. Export results as a CSV when you want a copy.
Save named wheels in this browser, export a backup file, or copy a link containing the wheel configuration. A share link is a copy of your setup, not a live synchronized draw.
Choose your spin duration, turn sounds on or off, and open focus mode for a clearer group view. Reduced-motion preferences shorten the animation while keeping the selection process the same.
For a detailed walkthrough, read how to customize colors, images, and sounds or how to save and share your wheel.
The winner is selected using your browser’s cryptographic random-number facility. The animation then rotates the chosen section into position beneath the fixed pointer. Changing the theme, turning sound off, or choosing a longer animation does not increase an entry’s chance.
For ten entries with a weight of one each, every entry has a 1-in-10 chance. If the weights are one, two, and one, their chances are 25%, 50%, and 25%. A fair selection follows the configured weights; it does not mean unequal weights produce equal chances.
A repeated name is a separate entry unless you remove duplicates. With winners kept on the wheel, the same entry can be selected on consecutive spins. Removing a winner changes the list for the next draw. Our guide to wheel odds and duplicates explains these differences with examples.
Open the site in a modern browser and use the same wheel on a laptop, tablet, or smartphone. On smaller screens, the entry editor sits below the wheel. No account or app installation is needed for the core tool.
A saved wheel belongs to the browser where you saved it. To move your setup to another device, use a share link or an exported wheel file. For phone-specific steps, see using a spin wheel on iPhone. Load the site with a connection; this version does not promise offline installation or cross-device cloud synchronization.
A visible entry list and clear result make a group draw easier to follow. Check the list and weights first: the animation does not prove that every eligible person was included.
Once you have a shortlist of acceptable options, a decision spinner can settle a small tie quickly. Keep important decisions grounded in the information they require.
A rotating wheel, a fixed pointer, and a clear winner turn a routine selection into a shared moment. Quiet settings and reduced motion keep presentation flexible.
The same random wheel generator can hold student names, game prompts, dinner choices, or tasks. Change the entries to fit the activity and keep the selection rules clear.
Yes. Adding entries, spinning, using the five designs, viewing results, and saving wheels in your browser are free. No sign-in is required.
You can add up to 1,000 entries. Short labels and smaller lists are easier to read during a presentation. The selected label is shown in full in the result window.
Yes. Turn on Remove winner automatically in Settings or remove the selected entry from the winner window. Remove duplicate names before drawing if each person should appear only once.
Each entry has an equal chance when all weights are equal. Duplicate entries and unequal weights change the combined chances of a name or option.
Save wheel stores a copy in the current browser. Use Share to copy the configuration to another device, or export and import a wheel backup. Local saves do not synchronize automatically.
Yes. Choose the Yes / No preset to load balanced options into the same wheel. You can edit the list afterward.
Anyone with the share link can read its included entries and settings. Do not include private rosters or sensitive information in a link you intend to distribute.
No. Prepare an eligible list yourself, then paste the names or import a CSV. This wheel does not connect to Instagram or other social accounts.
